"He who believes in Me and acts according to My teaching will harvest eternal life."
b - Judgment prediction by Jesus for Jerusalem
The Lord narrates.
(GGJ.06:173, 6) Said I: "My dear brother, do not get too excited, for you can see how in this world everything has its determined time, and the trunk of an old cedar cannot be broken like a thin stick. Behold, I am going to stay here for several days and will teach daily in the temple for seven days. It will be good for those who will change their ways; but whoever will persist with his blindness and, resulting from that, with his evil ways, will perish on the day of judgment that will come over Jerusalem and destroy all creatures.
"Just look at this large city, all of you! In truth, it will be razed to the ground. Let all the blind, as well as the pregnant women, who think that one cannot and must not flee on a Sabbath, pray that the judgment does not occur on a Sabbath, in which case no Jew would survive it.
"Prior to the judgment coming over all these wicked people many great signs will yet appear in the sky and on earth. The judgment and the end of this city will not come immediately, for a period of grace will still be allowed to see whether there aren‘t any people who do change their ways and are converted. If the signs are ignored, a great tribulation will be allowed to induce men to turn to God. If that, too, will be of no avail, I shall send prophets who will endeavours to rouse the truly spiritually dead with their mighty voice that shall sound like the trumpets in war. Those who will let themselves be awakened to the light of life will rise to everlasting life. But the ones who will awake from the trumpet-call of My messengers only in anger and rage against Me and My Word will not rise to life but to death through the judgment; and they will be cast where in the judgment there prevails eternal darkness, and there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
"When the judgment comes, let every righteous one flee. Let the one who is already on the roof of cognition of pure, divine truth not come down into the house to take an old Jewish coat (the precepts of the Pharisees), but let him stay on the high level of his new light. And the one who is already in the field of new activity according to My teaching, let him on no account return to the old home of blind and worthless ceremony but let him remain in his new field, and he will preserve his life."
