 The Childhood of Jesus

The gospel of St. James has come to us as a fragment only and was declared apocryphal.

The "Childhood" is the re-given gospel of James received by Jakob Lorber. James, a son of Jacob from his first marriage, in the original gospel recorded the whole life of Mary and Joseph starting from their birth. The "Childhood", however,  starts with the widower Joseph of Nazareth being entrusted by the temple with the care of Mary, age 14.

Here is a comprehensive and wonderful description of the birth and childhood of Jesus of such intimate, exalted beauty and might, that not one heart can deny the origin and truth of these precious writings.

We learn about Jesus‘ family, the miracle of His birth, the flight of the Holy family to Egypt made possible by the Roman governor (who soon becomes the first heathen believer), see the first wonderful actions of the Holy Child, and we receive with joyous amazement undreamed-of insights in the holy secrets of the person Jesus. Soul-clenching and illuminating! (402 pages.)
