Why God‘s incarnation?
|

To build a bridge for men so he can become free from matter
- For man to be able to become God-like,
- To end isolation of man from God,
- To destroy the towering tree of sin,
- To be a model for all beings in eternity,
- To be able for man to see the un-seeable God,
- To be for man a brother and caring father and
- To make it easier for mankind to love God
Jesus, teaching Jews and Romans:
"Since for every properly
developing individual the moment must come when he is capable of taking
in higher wisdom, this moment, perfectly timed by God, is now before
your eyes for the whole of creation and all matured created beings are
given the opportunity to pass from their old graves of judgment to full
godlikeness. Therefore, it says in Scripture that all those who were
and still are in their graves will hear the voice of the Son of Man
and, provided they have become mature by their own effort, will rise of
their own power to the true and eternal, completely godlike life.
Because
this moment, well and clearly calculated by God from eternity, has now
come, when all the created beings have reached this independent
maturity, truly recognizable by the fact that most of them know almost
nothing of God any longer and are completely isolated from Him, I as
God have come to guide men, no longer through My omnipotence, but
solely through the teaching given them as though I Myself were no more
and no different than they themselves. Now I can associate with them as
a person, like a stranger with a stranger, and it no longer holds true
that no one can behold God and live. Now you can look at Me as you like
and can still live. "

In ‘The Spiritual Sun‘ the Lord explains:
[SPS.02:013,09 on]
The
Lord: "Imagine, God Who was never seen by a created eye enters the
world as Jesus filled with the highest love and wisdom! He, the
infinite, the eternal, before the breath of Whom eternities disperse
like chaff, walks and teaches His created beings, His children. Not
like a father but like a brother!
But this all is not enough!
He, the all powerful accepts to be persecuted, arrested and His body be
killed by His futile creatures! Tell Me, can you think of a greater
love, a greater condescendence as the one of Jesus? By this
incomprehensible act He redesigned all things in heaven. While residing
in His sun of grace from which the light fills all heavens without end
He nevertheless is the same incarnate Jesus like He walked the earth in
all His godly plenitude as real father and brother, as perfect human
being among His children, gives all His grace, love and power to His
children and teaches them personally to act in His order!
Before
there existed between God and created men an infinite divide. But in
Jesus this divide was almost totally eliminated. And He Himself as you
know has visibly shown this to us by personally tearing apart through
His omnipotence the curtain in the temple which separated the sanctum
from the people. Therefore, He also is the only way, the life, the
light and the truth. He is the door by which we may have access to God
meaning through this door we cross the infinite divide between God and
us and find there Jesus, the eternal infinitely holy brother! And we -
as He wanted that divide to be lifted - can love Him now surely above
all!"
